The “Festival della Collina – Incontri con il Folklore Internazionale ®” was organized for the first time in 1974 by the Provincial Tourism Office of Latina in collaboration with the city of Cori, on the logistics, and the flag-wavers “Rioni di Cori” for the technical-organizational and international relations. 
Each year in July, the Festival once again a joyous event that dances and traditional music popular around the world. The “Festival della Collina” is his rightful home in the hill towns north of the province of Latina, rich tradition and art, without renouncing to go to cities near the sea and the city of Rome.
The city hosts international groups and choirs, one of the oldest cities in Italy. The province of Latina, and Cori in particular, becomes an annual crossroads where around 300 young people from all continents meet, know and learn to respect and love. Since the first edition about 200 groups from 65 countries participated in the event.
The Association of “Sbandieratori dei Rioni di Cori” is the artistic and technical event organizer.
The organization uses the important collaboration of C.I.O.F.F. ® (Conseil International des Organisations de Festivals de Folklore et d’Arts Traditionnels),, the Province of Latina, the Foundation “Roffredo Caetani”, the Office Tourist of Latina and since last year with the Amfos Italian Folklore Festivals United.
